Brief History
William Moorcroft founded the Moorcroft Pottery in 1912 having ceased his employment with James MacIntyre where he worked from 1897.
He remained active in the business until his death in 1945 when the business was taken over by Walter Moorcroft.
Today Moorcroft Pottery
is a PLC.
